-Commission Information-
♣ Commission status: Open! ♣
My prices vary from each project to the next. I price them by how long I think it will take me to finish it and the cost of the materials being used to create it. Even if it ends up taking longer to finish it than I had originally planned, I will not make you pay extra. The price also depends on how complicated/ detailed the piece you want is.
If you want to commission me, please e-mail me at Genaminna[at]gmail[dot]com.
I will draw:
- Tasteful [implied] sex, as long as no private parts are showing. (Breasts are okay); tasteful nudity of couples, etc.
- Your own characters
- Basically anything else ^^; except...
I won't draw:
- Graphic violence or forced sex (rape)
- Sex involving minors (17 and younger)
- Fanart (Exception: Only if you created the characters, yourself. Like *ebony-chan's Ebony OC.); I used to, before I found out it was basically illegal/copyright infringement... Sorry, no more Trunkses. :(
For Coloring:
Traditional Painting (acrylic, watercolors, oil)- This is the most expensive coloring method. The materials are costly, and it takes more time to work off a finished piece. I usually use Winsor and Newton for the Oils and Watercolors. I use Liquitex Basics for Acrylics~

Colored Pencils (Prismacolor)- This price is less costly than the painting, but more, compared to the digital. Prismacolors don't come very cheap. If you want mixed media (like colored pencils + watercolors), let me know.

Digital coloring (Adobe Photoshop, etc.)- This is the least expensive coloring method, as it doesn't require any 'new' materials for me (unless you want a print, but it's still mildly cheap), and because of the nature of the medium, mistakes can be fixed much easier.

For Black and White:
Pencil Shaded- This is the most expensive approach for black & white. It just takes longer to do, that's all. Realism portraits in black and white are the most time-staking.

Line Art (pen or pencil)- Line art is half-pencil sketch, half-shading, so that's why it's in the middle~

Extras for pen and ink: (+ Prismacolor Grey-toned markers), (+ Digital Screentones).

Pencil Sketches- This is the cheapest you can get! As long as I have the right idea in mind, it doesn't take me that long to do at all. But still, some people can ask for some pretty detailed sketches, so it depends. (If it gets to get more than "just a sketch", it begins moving up into the "Pencil Shaded" category.)

~When asking for a commission~
• Give me a description of what you'd like, being as detailed as you can, so I can get a good picture in my head of what you want. Then, I'll come up with a price estimate. Reference images are always helpful! (But theyr're not required) They just make my job easier, which means cheaper prices for you :p lol.
Also, let me know what style you want it in...!
• Don't forget to tell me what sized paper (or canvas) you'd like the work on. The final version of drawings are usually done on brisol board. Watercolors are done on watercolor paper; oil paintings are done on canvas/canvas board, etc...
• If you don't want me to send it to you in the mail (like, if I'm just doing a digital image for you), then I'll take the shipping charges out. Let me know beforehand, okay? If I'm doing a traditional painting for you, you might as well let me ship it to you. After all that money you spent, I'd think you'd wanna have the "real thing," right?
• You get to keep the preliminary sketches/drawings too.
~To give you an idea on prices~
(The range depends on the amount of detail.)
- 16" x 20" Oil paintings will be $350-500. One-person portraits are usually $350-400. 18" x 24" Oil paintings will be $400-700.
- 9" x 11" Watercolor paintings will be $60-250. (depends how complicated you want it!)
- 5" x 8.5" Colored Pencil drawings will be $50-120. 9" x 11" Colored Pencil drawings will be $60-200.
- 5" x 8.5" Pen and Ink drawings will be $15-80. 8.5" x 11" Pen and Ink drawings will be $20-120.
- 5" x 8.5" Pencil Sketches are $10-60 (till they move into the "Pencil Shaded" category).
- 8.5" x 11" Pencil Shaded drawings are about $60-250. (It *really* depends on the amount of detail.)
Of course, you aren't constrained to those sizes, but that's just to give you an idea. : ) You can always just ask for an estimate and not have to commit to an actual commission. These are subject to change depending on the size and simplicity of the image. Could be less; could be more... Just ask me!

~About the Progress~
• I'll now require a 10% non-refundable deposit fee whenever you begin to actually commission me so I can start working on it. (It goes toward your final price.)
• When I am half done with the picture, I'll need at least half of the money in order for me to continue. (Of course, I'll take pictures of my progress steps all the way and send them to you.)
• Let's say you want a colored pencil drawing~
I'd take a picture of the w.i.p./update you when:
1) You want changes in the drawing and I fix them.
2) The prelim sketch is finished**
3) When the inked version is finished
This is where I consider it half-done, so I'll require half the money.
4) Then, I do the final colored version. If you like what you see, you pay me the other half, and then I ship it.
5) Everyone's happy! lol
**If you want to change something, it's better to ask while it's still a sketch. I can't exactly erase ink very well... If you want to add something that wasn't originally in the pic, it'll cost a little more (just the price of if you wanted it there from the beginning). And, please, be specific about the colors you want used!
I accept Paypal and money orders. : ) Thanks for reading! ♥ :D
